USB Cable

Post by Gilbert Y » Tue Oct 02, 2012 2:20 pm

Finally we have made a USB Cable.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/17843311@N ... 677533207/

It is available now. Price is as the following, all in Canadian dollars.

0.6m $90.00
1.0m $110.00
1.5m $135.00

And you can order anywhere in between at 0.1 meter increment. It is $5.00 per 0.1 meter.

Product name.............. USB Cable. So just order a Blue Circle "USB Cable" from you dealer if you want one.

Another great product from Blue Circle :!: :!:
Did a cable shoot-out between the BC cable and a DH Labs and Transparent cable (5m. length...yes 5m.) and the BC USB cable was the "clear" winner.Bigger bass, finer detail and more air and space around instruments and vocals.A no-brainer for sure! 8)

Very interesting, as many consider the DH Labs a giant killer - I don't have experience with it; use a Cardas Clear.

Cheers,

Jo

I've had DH Labs through-out my system and have auditioned BIS and Gutwire (IC's only).I've also heard Cardas in other systems. For my money,it's Blue Circle all the way! 8)

I wouldn't worry about USB3 cables for audio... there are no dacs that are supporting USB3 for audio.... Yet.. I'm sure someone will "go there" soon enough.

My hardrive is usb3 only which I connect into my system using the supplied cable. So it's here already :)

Yup.. I have a few USB3 drive enclosures connected to USB3 ports on my main machine... but as far as getting the machine to DAC connected you are limited to either USB 1, or USB 2 (full speed) if your DAC has a proprietary driver, and runs 24/192.

I have yet to see a commercially available DAC that is USB3 compatible on the input side.

That is my understanding as well. However, the data still travels down the USB3 wire (regardless of its connection speed), so I'm just waiting for when some company .... BC I hope! ... makes an aftermarket USB3 wire :)

Such a cable is available from Wireworld. Their analog interconnects are tough to beat as well.

I could definitely use an A to micro B USB 3 cable.
