:roll:I WAS WATCHING THIS AMP TOO AND FINALLY PULLED THE TRIGGER, I HAVE TO SAY THAT IT MAKES BEAUTIFUL MUSIC PAIRED WITH MY BC3 PRE AMP, THERE IS LITTLE INFORMATION AVAILABLE FOR THIS UPGRADED AMP SO I RELIED ON (MASLUCK) FOR HIS INPUT ON THE UPGRADES THAT IS SIMILAR TO WHAT WAS DONE ON HIS LIKE AMPLIFIER. MANY THANKS FOR HIS INVALUABLE INPUT.
Am glad that amp "found a home".. If I didn't own a BC206NST .. I would have been all over it like a cheap suit ! The BC26 was my original fave BC amp.. it made me realize just how much more "music" a good solid state amp could make.. and summarily put a Krell KSA200S that I owned in it's place, I sold the Krell.. and bought BC8's !
I HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THE SOUND OF THIS AMP, A VERY LIQUID SOUNDING MIDRANGE WITH EXCELLENT RESOLUTION AN ARTICULATE TUNEFUL BASS, OF COURSE ALL TRADEMARKS OF BC SOUND. I SHOULD ADD THIS AMP HAS GONE THROUGH CONSIDERABLE CHANGES FROM A STANDARD BC 26 A FINE AMP IN IT'S OWN RIGHT, IT HAS THE NST INPUT DRIVER UPGRADE, INCREASED POWER SUPPLY CAPACITANCE AND ALSO THE NEW M2 OUTPUT MODULES WHICH ACCORDING TO GILBERT HAVE ONLY BEEN USED ON A FEW CUSTOM JOBS, SO IF THIS IS GOING TO BE USED IN FUTURE PRODUCTS DEVELOPED BY GILBERT I THINK THE BC NATION WILL BE VERY PLEASED INDEED, I KNOW I AM
