Custom Tube Linestage Preamp

Post by Ice Man » Wed Dec 03, 2014 5:31 pm

I am handling the sale of this product for an Estate and Gilbert is assisting me.

Good to excellent cosmetic condition from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Gilbert tested the units prior to packing and it is fully functional.

No reasonable offer will be refused.

This preamp was based on the AG8000 and BC3000 and combine the best of both world. It uses 4 tubes (2 per channel). It can be upgrade to recent hybrid technology similar to the BC307.

Original retail was USD12,500.00, asking for USD6,000.00 plus shipping.

I have tested this preamp on site in June 2014 before pack up and put in storage

Hello Gilbert, I recently e-mailed you seeking information about the BC-307, but it may be that this custom preamp would work well for me. My main issue has been component matching, so the specs are important to me, in particular maximum input and output voltages, gain, input and output impedances. Also, any chance for auditioning the preamp, either in my own or another person's system? Thanks! Joel Tatelman 416-767-6782
