As, at least in my mind, Blue Circle and JM Reynaud dance together in special harmony, I hope the Adminstration won't object to my posting this news.
Jean Marie Reynaud has died after a long fight with what his son, Jean Claude, reports was "a terrible illness." Jean Claude, who has worked at his side in recent years, involved in both design and the business itself, pledged to his father to "continue his brand and business respecting his philosophy and sound."
Knowing Jean Claude as I do, I doubt there will be any evidence of a change for us to see or hear. But France and the audio world have lost one of the great ones. Jean Marie lived for music as those of us who treasure his speakers know well. |
