I am currently looking at both of these preamps. The BC3 is in its most basic form. I have never heard both preamps side by side. Does anyone have experience with both? How large is the performance gap between these units?

| BC3 starts out significantly better than the 21.1 and then, if you upgrade, it disappears into the distance. |

| I am on Bob's side on this one. Even if the two units started off the same the ability to up grade the BC 3 makes it an easy choice. |
