This is going to be at the Toronto show this September.

When others are bragging about their 500,000uF power supply, we are doing 5,000,000uF. Does it sound better? If it doesn't, I wouldn't be wasting my time doing it. Beside, this NSP is designed to run on (optional) batteries supply and solar panels. A set of 75Ah battery can run the NSP for up to 24 hours.
We are debating whether we are going to bring the batteries set or not. None of us has a good back. Anyone want to help? We can pay in pizza and soft drink. Sorry, no beer or alcohol of any kind in the room. Ok, that dealer guy who is running the room may disagree with me on this so I will let him have his say. It is his room after all. |

I'm tempted to ask Blue Knight to run a craft beer bar in the room at TAVES however I would not make it through the weekend....
The Mystic Audio room at TAVES 2012 will show Blue Circle and AAD Silver Reference speakers. We plan on showing 2 systems, one analogue and one digital. It's all about what we can squeeze into the van.
The preliminary list of items we plan on bringing are:
NSP power amplifier
BC1022 power amplifier
BC3000 GZpz pre amplifier
Fon Lo Thingee iaB with Fon Lo Thingee Power Supply iaB
Technics SL1200 battery supply turnable
BC505 DAC
BC507NB DAC
BC6020 power filter
The usual assortment of Blue Circle cables and accessories.
Digital source is a Macbook Pro and a Micromega Duo Pro2 transport
The list may change, Gilbert might invent something else..... |

The Duo 2.1 was the top transport made by Micromega. It featured a balanced output design, RCA or optical as well. It has fairly decent capacitance and power supply.
It is over 10 years old at least (Original owner was my father in law) however it sat in storage for most of it's life due to the actual drive not operating. unfortunately the drive was a Phillips CDM-9 Pro. Good luck finding one today. Fortunately Dan Santoni in Hamilton found one after over a year of searching.
I rarely use it as computer based music is far to convenient but it sounds great when I do use it!

| Thanks for this. I asked because while I love my AN transport, I'm always looking for alternatives. |
