Introducing the little Blue Circle amp that sounds big. Don’t just look at the size of the SBI and think it’s a little amp. We have used the SBI to drive a variety of speakers from two ways to three ways with 10" woofers. This is not a little amp. It just looks small. Its performance must be heard to be believed. You really have to hear this one to believe how big little can sound. We can prattle on about how good it sounds, but none of this matters until you listen to the SBI for yourself.

With the PGPS (pretty good power supply), the SBI can deliver 28 watts into 8 ohms and 35 watts into 4 ohms. With the RGPS (really good power supply), the SBI can deliver 30 watt into 8 ohms and 48 watt into 4 ohms. Don’t be fooled by the entry-level price of the SBI and think these power supplies are those mass-produced off-the-shelf switching power supplies. Both the PGPS and RGPS are genuine Blue Circle linear power supplies. We also use locking XLR connectors for the DC power connection, not cheap DC power connectors.

With the optional USB input, the SBI is a perfect choice for desktop, home office or a laptop computer audio system.

We use the same parts in the SBI as in our high end products. The heat sink is the same one we use in the 200 series power amps. RCA jacks are used in the BC3000MKII, even the power supply filtering caps are the same we use in our high end amps. We don’t cut corners where it counts the most. The items that are non-essential to the sound we offer as options. You have a choice whether to buy them now or later (or ever.)
