One of our ongoing projects here at Blue Circle is research into various power supplies that use alternative sources of energy.

In order to store the energy, we have researched the supercap and/or batteries. Our goal is to have all the components totally off the power grid. Since the supercap is still superexpensive, the best alternative is to use battery power. So far, we have been able to use a battery power supply with all of our current line-level solid-state components. However, we will not leave the owners of our archived products behind. We therefore offer the battery power supply upgrade for the following products. We can even offer this option to other product brands. If you have a solid-state DAC, preamp or phonostage, feel free to contact us and we’ll see if we can install a battery-based power supply for you.
