The 6X and 12X filters are not new. They have been available for over a year but
we have been busy doing a lot of other stuff and just didn't get around to putting
them up on the website until now. If it weren't for some of the customers who have
already purchased those 6X and 12X filters demanding to see a write up on our web
site so they can show off their sillycone filters and tell their friends where to
buy them we might not have got around to posting this until even later.
A brief confession. :) (Aug 19, 2011)
Sillycone Filter a.k.a. Silicone Filter, is available in 6X, 12X and 18 X. The multipler
is based on the amount of filtering compared to the award winning, critically acclaimed
BC86MK3. The filter technology is trickle down from the BC6000.
We don't claim these filters will solve every problem under the sun. They only do
one thing and do it very well. They clean the power line and let the audio and video
system enjoy the noise free power. The resulting projected or TV picture is much
sharper. It's like just after cleaning a window. If you think you window is clean,
think again. These filters will give you another level of clarity, without excessive
The impact these filters will have in an audio system depends on how each individual
component responds to cleaner power. In most cases, the system will reproduce clearer
and more definte bass notes, a more three dimensional soundstage and a sense of relaxation
and ease in the musical presentation..
Using these filters is easy. Find a spare outlet in the power strip where you plug
the other components. Plug in the filter into the spare outlet. It's that easy. They
work in parrellel, as long as they are in the same circuit as the system the entire
system will benefit from it. The closer the filter is located to the components,
the better the result it is.
If you want your filter housed in a more elaborate enclosure to match you room decor,
we can make almost anything to suit. We can make the filter in a solid wood box,
a polished stainless steel pipe, even a glass jar. Anything you can think of. Challenge
Standard finish is clear silicone with black letters in a black ABS pipe.
